Impatience/Discomfort

Gus is listening to a harrowing radio ad about domestic violence which seems to go on interminably. By now he is ready for the discomfort to end.

He is closing his eyes to try to shut out the world, changing positions in the seat before resting a comforting hand on the side of his face. A sigh is followed by tightly closed lips, a downward gaze and a defensive posture as he waits for the ad to end.
